We are noticing it too.
Looks like the peeps at #LinkedIn are tweaking their algorithm again.
Why?
➡️ LinkedIn are making more room for other content creators
➡️ LinkedIn are pushing us to review our content mix
➡️ LinkedIn are wanting us to invest in paid Ads and subscriptions
➡️ LinkedIn are adjusting the algo to enhance user experience and therefore deliver the most relevant and engaging content to its users
My biggest concern 🤔 with the ALGO changes is that, in this instance, I’m seeing individuals and companies with LARGE followings get penalised. I think this is unfair, as they are often the ones who have made a concerted effort to build following (community) and sharing thoughtful content with intent… It would be good to get feedback from LI on this point (Shiva Kumar - any thoughts on this?)
So what can you good folk do, given that we know ALGO change is in the air 💭???
1. Don’t give up!! The algorithm is always being tweaked, things will settle.
2. Continue to strategically grow your network
3. Review your post performance and look at what is working and what is not!
4. We believe that engaging with your community is critical too, give others some “love” ❤️. After all this is a social platform, so DON’T just post and leave 😊
5. Mix it up, do different types of posts. Engaging posts are interesting posts… Read that again 😊 - no boring stuff please
